Findlay Kitchen Scholarship Application

We are thrilled to be able to offer these scholarships to small businesses looking to grow and scale their operations. There are two scholarships available now, and we will be releasing applications for future scholarships quarterly. These scholarships were made possible in part by the generous support of the Edelweiss Foundation, Dionysia Savas & Martin Wilz, the Ed & Joann Hubert Family Foundation, and Suki Skidmore & Tim Kane.

Meal Prep Scholarship

This scholarship is valued at $8,000, and covers expenses such as...

  • In-house mentorship and hands-on training at Findlay Kitchen

  • Initial marketing & branding assets

  • Access to business development courses

  • Hourly kitchen usage at Findlay Kitchen

  • Stipend covering startup costs

Criteria

In order to be considered for a Findlay Kitchen Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants must be 17+ years old 

  • Applicants must be a woman, minority, or immigrant to be considered for this scholarship.

  • Applicants must submit a business plan for scholarship consideration. 

  • Applicants must be open to sharing financial and business data with Findlay Kitchen for analysis and reporting purposes. 

  • If awarded, scholarship and kitchen hours must be used within one year of award date, otherwise Findlay Kitchen reserves the right to transfer remaining funds to a future scholarship recipient for use.

  • If awarded, recipients do not need to meet the monthly minimum kitchen use time requirements. 

  • Findlay Kitchen Membership is not required at the time of application. However, if you are awarded a Findlay Kitchen scholarship you must complete membership requirements within sixty (60) days in order to maintain eligibility. Please note: Scholarship funds do not cover the upfront costs of membership. Failure to meet eligibility member requirements within this timeframe may result in revocation of the scholarship.

  • If you are a current Findlay Kitchen member, you will not be considered for a Findlay Kitchen scholarship if you have an outstanding balance with any CFFM-affiliated program. This includes, but is not limited to: Findlay Kitchen Membership/access/storage, Findlay Market Outdoor Market, and other various market programmatic opportunities.
